If you do not know what alt porn is, you have probably seen it, but you did not know that it had a name. 

Basically, alt porn stands for alternative form, and it is sometimes referred to as indie porn as well. 

It is a type of porn that is usually popular in various subcultures of people and the models and actors that start in these types of porn movies usually come from these types of subcultures as well.

That means that with alt porn, you can probably expect a lot of goth, punks, ravers, and people of that nature. 

The most popular types of girls in this kind of porno are usually girls that are do not look like the average girl next door. This is the type of porn for you if you are into girls with tattoos, piercings and dyed hair. 

There really is not anything that is that alternative about the actual sex that takes place in these porn movies, it is mostly about the way that these people look. Body modification is a big part of this genre. 

A lot of the times, there will be a goth tinge include as well, with girls and men wearing leather and chains, and sometimes even experimenting with bondage. 

But the most popular type of alt porn currently has to do with a type of independent culture that is big into tattoos and girls that are a little more aggressive looking and different.

This type of porn did not really pick up steam or even have much of a fan base until the 1990s. A glossy magazine called Blue Blood, which came out in 1992, was one of the first pornographic publications to feature these types of girls, which are now being referred to as typical models for alt porn.

However, these terms like “alternative porn” or “alt porn” were not coined until the early 2000s, and this was a time when websites and publications like Suicide Girls were immensely popular. 

Sometimes it is referred to as subculture porn or subculture erotica, because it is more about belonging to a particular group than liking any type of specific sexual actions or looks. 

Alt porn appeals to people who are big into the tattoo and body modification culture, so of course, it has more appeal to people who are into rock musical and various forms of alternative and underground art.
